From Under Contract to Closing the Sale

Ensuring the Transaction Proceeds Smoothly

There are few things I enjoy more than saying to a client, “You got the home!” That means the seller accepted your offer, and you are under contract to purchase the home you chose.

However, before you will actually purchase the home at the closing, all the contract conditions must be met, such as the inspections, appraisal, and financing conditions; the closing date must be set at a mutually agreeable time; and you will need to be preparing to move.

My job is to keep the transaction moving forward, making sure you address each condition or contingency in a timely manner, so you move smoothly from contract to a successful closing.  I will help schedule appointments with inspectors, assist in reviewing title and other documentation, suggest other professionals when you need expertise in their areas, and provide suggestions for vendors who may be of assistance, such as moving companies or cleaning services.
